Biografía

I was born on December 25, 1993, in Pirané, a small town in the province of Formosa, Argentina. Growing up in a humble environment taught me from an early age the importance of resilience and perseverance, virtues I inherited from my parents and that have been the foundation of my personal journey.

Since I was a child, I always felt a special connection with water and the freedom it represents, but I didn’t fully realize it until I was in my twenties. Even though my childhood took place far from the sea, my dreams sailed beyond the boundaries of my hometown.

At the age of 18, I moved to Buenos Aires to work and study. I studied Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires, a discipline that broadened my vision of how leadership and organization can transform lives. Additionally, I studied marketing and ontological coaching, which provided me with tools to better understand human emotions and the strategies needed to motivate others and achieve goals. These studies not only helped me grow personally but also strengthened my focus on customer experience, teamwork, and leadership—essential skills in my journey towards the maritime world.

My first direct experience with navigation occurred in Formosa, fishing and hunting with my father. There, I learned about river fishing and, most importantly, to avoid using repellents while fishing because "fish can detect the smell," an unforgettable lesson my father taught me. At the age of 20, I discovered the Tigre Delta in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There, I improved my skills handling a boat that I used daily to commute to work or university. This required me to navigate under various conditions: windy days, extremely low tides, and even "the foggiest day in Buenos Aires," when a 25-minute trip took me three hours. With patience and a GPS, I made it home safe and sound.

I also worked as a dockhand at a renowned restaurant in the Tigre Delta, owned by the Boraso family, one of the first families to settle in the area. Later, I navigated in Miami with friends on a leisure trip and worked as a stewardess in Brazil, where we traveled through Ilha Grande, Angra dos Reis, and ended in Paraty over the course of a month. I was responsible for organizing meals, provisions, and cleaning the boat. In 2023, I moved to Europe and, that same year, sailed along the Spanish coast on a yacht with friends.

It was in Croatia that I worked as a skipper, deckhand, and stewardess. It was there that I truly fell in love with the rhythm of life at sea and learned the importance of understanding every detail of how a vessel operates. I learned a great deal from my colleagues, who have been captains since childhood and grew up in this industry. Steering boats up to 15 meters in different environments and across various islands showed me that this was where I belonged. Previously, I had worked on luxury yachts in Ibiza, honing both my technical and interpersonal skills for a renowned 5-star charter company.

My dream of working at sea is not just a professional goal but a philosophy of life. For me, leading means knowing every task onboard, from housekeeping to the most complex maneuvers, and having deep respect for every team member. I am convinced that a good captain not only navigates the waters but also the aspirations of those around them.

Today, I continue working toward that dream. In March 2025, I plan to take the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification. My goal is not only to cross the Atlantic or deliver a luxury yacht to its destination but also to inspire more women to dream of taking on "men’s roles" and to prove that leadership has no gender—only commitment and determination.

The sea has been my teacher, my challenge, and my refuge. My story is still being written, and every decision I make brings me closer to the horizon I envision.
